Nerf Recon CS-6 review

Introduction: Although it is a customizable rifle, it is not very special. It resembles an M16A4 rifle(US standard assault rifle, and my favorite Counter-Strike rifle). It's stock is not very sturdy and it can store up to 1 clip(which is easy to take out) at the stock. The stock is not adjustable so some kids will grip it under their armpit(wipe the stock area after every use) while firing. The barrel is not very light either. A jam is very hard to be fixed because of the small jam door, so the best option is to just remove the clip and re-insert it(6 secs). The clip release is right above the trigger area so, it can be reached easily if you use your index finger. Unlike the Longshot, it has a clip release trigger on each side of the rifle so that left and right handed users can use it as well. Because the Longshot does not have this function, it will be a disadvantage for left-hand users. It comes with only 1 1x6 streamline clip. So, if you want to store an extra clip, buy the Bandoiler Kit.

Overall size: Coming soon.

How to use:  Depends on your size, if you can prime the gun comfortably when the stock is resting on your shoulder, then by all means use that way. If you are too small, place the stock under your armpit of your firing hand, then rest your other hand on the primer. And, its ready to go.

Darts: Streamlines. Jams less with good darts.

Tactical attachments: The sight which comes with it should be put on the primer. It is also accurate if the target is not too far away. The targeting light should be mounted on the lower side of the barrel. But it will increase the weight. And when in use in a dark place, try not to use the light if you are in the open. Otherwise, you'll just be a target. A Longshot sniper will see you and just shoot you in the head and you won't know where the darts are coming from. Use it in a narrow corridor with wide beam instead of targeting dot which is useful only in all-out-war and small skirmishes.

My opinion: Its an all terrain weapon. So, use it when you are in an unfamiliar terrain, just like an assault weapon. But bring a Raider along if you are expecting an all-out-war.

P.S. Never leave a gun primed. Halfway or not. When the clip can be inserted inside, meaning the gun is still primed. To check look at the black cover behind the blaster, can be seen even with the stock attached. Look at the upside-down 'u' shape. If it is orange, then it is primed, if black then its not.

Nerf Longshot CS-6

Introduction: Not very useful like the Raider or Recon. But good enough. Its something like a cross between a shotgun and sniper. It is quite bulky and old fashioned but it is still stylish. Unreasonably heavy for some reason, but all snipers are supposed to decrease mobility. Its also proven in Nerf, Counter-Strike and PS2 Delta Force Black Hawk Dawn Team Sabre. It is the only gun which is a 2-in-1 combo. The extension pistol is virtually useless, sure it can shoot, but it is fragile and most people's just break in the box. Like mine and a few others. The Longshot uses a direct plunger system. It uses the yellow version clips(which I have not seen any to be sold separately. The tip's of those streamlines from the special clips are light beige in color instead of being orange like the normal ones). The stock can also store 1 extra clip. The stock is not removable but it can be  locked and unlocked in a position. Unlike the Raider, the stock only has 1 range and it is best to use it extended for whatever age. Uses a bolt for a primer. It also comes with a sight which is no more effective than a hollow tube with plain plastic lenses with a few markings with a permanent marker, which it really is. Main gun can go up to 50 feet. Extension pistol can go up to 10 feet only. It is the 2nd longest blaster(1st is Longstrike)

Overall size: 23.5 inches(60cm) in length(stock unextended), 27 inches(67 cm)(stock extended) . 8 inches(22cm) in height. 5 inches(13cm) in width.
Extension pistol is: 14 inches(35cm) in length, 5 inches(13cm) in height, 3 inches(7cm) in width.

How to use: For fast shooting, I suggest you extend the stock and rest it on your lower chest(above your stomach). Then just keep your writing hand on the trigger. The other hand is to stabilize the gun by gripping at the bolt. Then yank back and forward non-stop. But make sure that you do not do it to fast or the bolt might not be able to be pulled back. When this occurs, simply release the trigger and wait for a second before firing again. For holding it while running or any movement, I suggest that you keep your finger off the trigger.
For precise shooting(a.k.a. sniping), you should keep your finger at the trigger at all times. To shoot, press the stock to your shoulder(just right above the armpit area). And after every shot, use your trigger hand to prime it. Main purpose of this is to make sure that you do not move the gun to much.

Darts: Streamlines only,  it is able to use damaged darts as well. But if the dart is bent, straighten the darts before use. It is the worst dart shredder of all the CS guns.

Tactical attachments: It comes with a useless scope which doesn't do much.

My opinion: Not bad. Though it jams frequently. Good heavy gun.

Nerf Raider CS-35 review

Introduction: Just let me say that this gun is super cool. You should have heard about how it works already so, yeah, allow me to bring you up to speed.
Newbies of Nerf would find this gun unfriendly, strange and un-useful. But it is actually very good when used tactically. After a long time, me and my Raider finally bonded.
Has a new feature that only the Raider and the Alpha Trooper share: the slam fire. Best to use in close-combat-firing.
It doesn't jam much when you first use it. But then, after 2 weeks, it'll start to jam. But with new fresh darts, it'll not jam so much.Jamming can be cleared in 5 seconds if you practiced enough. It can fire up to 30 feet! Not bad for a gun which has a long barrel. But it will drastically decrease in range up to 10 feet when in slam-fire mode. It uses a pump action to prime it. It comes with a stock and a 35 dart clip which resembles a drum.
The stock also can be adjustable to fit any size. In total, there are 4 ranges. Kids(6-10)1st range, Young teens(11-14) 2nd range, Teens(15-19)3rd range, Adults(20+) 4th range.

Overall size: Without the stock, it is quite small, even my little cousin(4 years old and he can prime his Nitefinder and shoot me anytime he wants!) can hold the raider from the handle and front grip.
It is 24.5 inches in lenght(62cm)(with stock), 20.5 inches(52cm)(without stock), 7 inches(18cm)
Stock:
 Range 1) 24.5 inches(62cm)
 Range 2) 25.5 inches(64.5cm)
 Range 3) 26.5 inches(67cm)
 Range 4) 27.5 inches(69.5cm)

How to use: Single fire. Easy. First, find a range which is comfortable to you. Then, pull the front grip back to load in your clip. After that, push the front grip forward, and then just press the trigger to fire. To slam fire, make sure the stock is resting on your chest comfortably. Then press and hold on the trigger. Then pump the grip as fast as possible. But make sure you are not pulling the grip downwards or you might damage it(Or even rip it clean off). Average RoF will be 2-3 shots per second.

Darts: Only streamlines. And try to use new ones and leave the older ones to the Longshot who doesn't care whether the dart is good or not. Clip can hold 37 darts but it is not advisable to do so. The clip(regular clip which is attached to the drum conceals 9 darts in total. So when counting darts in the drum, add a 9 first.

Tatical Attachments: No use, only adds unnecessary weight. Unless you are going sniping, which completely eliminates the pros of this gun and brings out the cons.

My opinion: Good. Very good. Best primary weapon.

P.S. Never leave a gun primed. Halfway or not(Meaning when the drum-clip can be inserted inside, then by all means fully prime it and shoot that dart out. After that, put the dart into the small hole underneath the handle)

Nerf Maverick REV-6 review

Introduction: Its basically the best pistol ever, though it jams after a long period of use. But jamming can be fixed under 3 seconds if you're skilled enough. It can go up to 30 feet and it can rapid fire(Veterans can finish 6 darts in 4-6 seconds). The barrel can flip out half-way(2 dart sockets). Unbalanced weight. The gun tilts forward so a kid below the age of 6 might have difficulty holding it straight with one hand.

Overall size: It can also fit into the Nerf Tactical Vest's holster but can't fit into the pocket. It is around 9.5 inches(27cm) in lenght, 6.5 inches(16cm)in height and 2.5 inches(6cm) in width (middle).

How to use: So, I'll teach you how to rapid fire. First, put your right hand(Or left if you're left-handed) on you right hip(Same)  and place your other hand on the slider of the gun.,  then yank away... and again and again. But make sure that your finger is not pressing the trigger anymore before you prime the gun. Or else, you'll damage the gun and jam the next shot. And, when you are not shooting yet(but in a battle), try to press the trigger a bit as a warm up(For older guns, but maybe new ones will need this exercise too) or the gun will jam.
Also, never ever, use this gun like the Law Enforces(FBI,CIA,SEALS,SAS,MI6, or just plain old police) holding Glocks(Nickname for a pistol) with two hands holding in front.

Darts: Simply any type. Best when used with streamlines(shorter and with an orange tip). Sonic Micro Darts(With velcro) are not very fit to use with this gun because it is slightly longer than the barrel, but its still ok to use it. Whistler Darts(Soft rubber tips with a hole to make a whistling sound, I'm not sure if it works but my friend said that he heard it) Don't even think about it. It is also as long as a Sonic Micro but the tip is large and will sometimes pop up and prevent the barrel from turning. Hence, a jam.

Tactical Attachments: My advice, is not to put any on it. I mean, it'll just be in the way of your hand when you're cocking it.

My opinion: In my fair opinion, I love this gun. Its been my most reliable companion since I started Nerf.
